The Public Utility Commission of Texas regulates the state's electric, telecommunication, and water and sewer utilities, implements respective legislation, and provides customer assistance in resolving consumer complaints.
Beginning July 15, 2025 new monthly transmission construction progress reports (MCPR, required under 16 TAC § 25.83) must be filed using the Compliance Reporting Portal (CRP).
Previously filed reports will remain on the Agency Information System or Interchange (AIS). More information on the transition plan is available in Project number - 57925.
To search for MCPR and PBR reports, click on the link: PUCT - MCPR - Public Search.
No registration is required to conduct a public search. Users can search for specific projects and search results can be exported into an excel spreadsheet.
Phase 1 Ongoing - Filing of MCPRs and Permian Basin Reliability Plan (PBR) reports (in progress rulemaking, Project No. 57602) will transition from AIS to CRP. Proposed transition schedule in the table below.
Transition Schedule
Phase 2 - The remaining reports will be moved to the CRP. See the list of reports in the Staff memo filed under Project Number -57925 Item 2. Staff will provide a transition schedule for this phase after the successful completion of Phase 1.
Phase 3 - Staff will work with the Commission's IT division on select TDSP reports from Phase 2 that require a higher degree of data management because of the nature of the information filed and the need for data analysis. Like the MCPR and PBR reports, these reports may require information to be entered in separate data fields for easier searching and sorting of data. Staff will provide a list of selected reports and a schedule for this phase after the successful completion of Phase 2.
For Staff memos and other instructions related to all CRP implementation phases, please refer to Project Number 57925. Updates related to the Monthly Construction Progress Reports, Permian Basin Reliability Plan Reporting, and CRP, will be provided via Project No. 57925.
