are not available in Interchange. Hard copies may be obtained from the Central Records Division
by emailing centralrecords@puc.texas.gov.
What additional tools do I need to retrieve and view filings over the Internet?
- The PUCT supports the most current versions of Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
- To view PDF files download the free Adobe Reader
- The PUCT Interchange still contains many legacy multipage TIFF files.
Modern versions of Windows include the Windows Photo Viewer or similar.
Another option is a tool such as IrfanView.
- Some files may need to be decompressed (unzipped). Modern versions of Windows have unzip utilities built-in.
These files carry the .zip extension. If your operating system does not include this utility,
then a program such as 7-zip or
WinZip may be required to access the files.
